Using Brain Tabs

Brain Tabs is a personal productivity app. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial planning and task management.

You agree not to:

• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Use the app to store or transmit any illegal or harmful content

Your account

Sign-in is handled via magic link — we send a one-time link to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We will remove your data within 30 days of your request.

Brain Tabs Pro — subscriptions and billing

Brain Tabs Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription, managed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions in addition to these terms.

• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it begins immediately when you subscribe. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: Cancel at any time via your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple. We do not process refunds directly.
• Price changes: We will notify you of any price changes in advance. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

AI features

Brain Tabs Pro includes AI-powered features (task breakdown, AI sort in Brain Dump) powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use these features, the content of the relevant task(s) is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate a response.

Do not enter sensitive personal information — passwords, financial details, medical information — into tasks you intend to use with AI features.

AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or appropriate. Use your own judgment.

Your content

The tasks and notes you create in Brain Tabs belong to you. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Brain Tabs service to you.

Availability

We aim to keep Brain Tabs available and running, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any significant changes.

If we discontinue the app entirely, we will provide at least 30 days notice and a way to export your data.

Disclaimer of warranties

Brain Tabs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brain Tabs and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or lost productivity.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in the app. Continued use of Brain Tabs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
